Starting off like an old school Young Knives tune, 'Each Tick A Tock' then goes through something of a modern day Arctic Monkeys movement followed up by some Queens Of The Stone Age action and then a Doors-esque breakdown. All this tied together with the soft Northern vocal tones reminiscent of Everything Everything or Dutch Uncles. Termite are exploring their prog side without a doubt but in such a way that it fits in to four and a half minutes and would fit perfectly just after the 1.30 news on BBC 6Music.
